The leaves of Euphorbia multifolia grow among the numerous tubercles covering the stems. The long, narrow leaves are channelled on top, linear in shape with abrupt, blunt tips.
Their blue-grey colouring contrasts against the stem-tip yellow and green of the flowers. They are like few, bluish hairs, thick and spreading, straight or curving around the flowering stem-tips (Frandsen, 2017; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist; https://www.llifle.com).
