Aristea capitata, the pink form

This is the less common, pale pink form of Aristea capitata growing at Kirstenbosch. Plants grown from seed will probably produce blue flowers with this colour as a very rare exception. The common names of blue sceptre and blousuurkanol suggest as much (www.plantzafrica.com).
