Crassula perforata inflorescence

The flowers of Crassula perforata are creamy white and small; about 3 mm in length. Flowering happens in summer. This young garden specimen was photographed in midsummer with only the dry stalk and withered flowers remaining. Still, the stalk remains standing, tall and erect until after the seeds are dispersed. The lax inflorescence has its flower clusters well spaced up the stem (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010).
