Senecio elegans leaves

    Senecio elegans leaves

The leaves of Senecio elegans are deeply divided, crisped or have rounded lobes and margins rolled under. They are covered with glandular hairs, often sticky to the touch.

When these plants grow on dunes close to the sea their quite variable leaves tend to be fleshier. The leaves are from 3,5 cm to 7,5 cm long (Manning, 2009; Bean and Johns, 2005).
