Albuca rupestris flowers

The fragrant flowers of Albuca rupestris are borne in flat-topped racemes on long, pale-green stalks that stand erect. They face upwards, the outer three tepals angle out widely in open flowers. The tepals are yellow with green bands positioned longitudinally along the tepal centres. Tepals are thick-textured and spread obliquely outwards, but curve inwards slightly in shape.

The fruit is a three-lobed capsule. The seeds are small, black and shiny (Pooley, 1998; iNaturalist; iSpot; Wikipedia).
