The small flowers of Crassula sladenii grow in large, densely rounded heads from upper stem tips of the shrublet. The stalk that presents an inflorescence above the leaves, branches repeatedly. Flower colour is white or pink, the anthers black. On this plant, photographed in the Daberas Pass in southern Namibia during April, the flower remains are already dried out, but still indicate the shape of the inflorescence.
The upper stems are sturdy, pale yellow to cream in colour. The much branched lower stems become woody with age (iSpot).
