The old leaves of Jasminum multipartitum lose their initial tender-looking texture, becoming darker green and leathery. The shine on the leaf surfaces is still there.
Lateral incurving has disappeared, the leaves now recurving towards their tips, occasionally remaining flat. The leaf midribs are still clearly visible as thin, whitish lines, but the lateral veins have become less discernible (Germishuizen and Fabian, 1982).
